USOP's scalable platform enables physicians who join our organization to access our value-added services, such as a robust compliance department and best-in-class key performance indicators.
Our partnerships with first-class groups allowed us to reach a record-breaking year of business in 2021. With the trends continuing in the upcoming year, we are on track for potential growth of 200% in 2022. Throughout 2021, we acquired five groups and concluded the year acquiring Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, AL. Andrews brings a worldwide reputation for excellence in orthopaedic care, research and fellowship education. These partnerships will continue our momentum of building the industry-leading platform for physicians looking to partner in the private equity space.
USOP is well-positioned to benefit from the confluence of an aging population and higher rates of injury that often require advanced surgical procedures. "We are excited to start this partnership and see tremendous opportunity together," said Karen Winterhof, Director, FFL Partners. "We think MSMOC's reputation and long-standing fellowship programs provide a great foundation for building a strong orthopaedic platform that fulfills a critical need."
